My map: What I love and hate (give your opinion!)

(sorry for the lame picture, I don't know how to take a screenshot of the map screen!)

Thing is,
when I started playing New Leaf I thought the only town layouts there were were the ones shown to you on the train.
Little did I know that by resetting you could get more layouts...
So I didn't reset for my town layout!

What I <3:

1) It's almost perfectly centered!
I'm a huge symmetry maniac so this is big plus for me.

2) The mayor's office is near to the recycle shop, I like that they are in the same area.

3) I like the tiny beach at the very top!

4) My town tree is PERFECT in the middle!

What I </3:

1) Where I placed my house... Seriously... I rushed it,
and now I CAN'T PUT A BRIDGE THERE! Which means my town will never have a 3rd bridge,
because there's no way on earth I'm putting one in a place where it does not look aligned.

2) The pond near the train station. Grrr! It's right in anyone's FACE when they arrive!

3) Not much room for PWPs... I'm seriously bugged by that.

4) the ponds are all on one side and all in inconvenient places.

5) some of the rocks in my town are also in inconvenient places.


That's pretty much it!
Overall I like it, the only thing that REALLY REALLY peeves me off is my house location.
Can't believe I was so stupid.
I should have placed it near the recycle shop and mayor office.

What do you think of my map? Where would you have placed your house on this map?

I think your map is really nice! I had a map like that before I reset. I also had issues with space for PWPs (which is one of the reasons I reset). I think your house is in an OK area, but the bottom left corner of your map seems empty compared to the rest. Also, someone's house is right in front of the town hall, which can be an issue if you're going to put paths down in your town.

Also, this is irrelevant, but I love the skin and Animal Crossing toys on your 3DS. c:

LOL same! I didn't know there was more maps, I just chose the first map that popped up XD

Also, to screenshot your map, just sit in your mayor chair and ask to "demolish a pwp" and your map will pop up on the top screen! and screenshot! You don't even need to demolish a pwp for this ^~^ <3 just click on the "demolish pwp option!

And I love my 3DS too. I hesitated between the pikachu 3DS and Yoshi 3DS, but in the end the green color of the Yoshi edition won, I find it so pretty.
As for the AC charms, I get them from a toy vending machine at my local supermarket.
I buy one every time I go grocery shopping.
I'm trying to collect them but I keep getting these 3! Hahaha, I give the extra ones to my cats, they like to play with them.

I like your map, the symmetry is really cool! Sure, your house could've been placed better, but it's still a very nice map. I would've used the lower left corner, I guess, but that's nothing that would make me reset or whatever. In fact, I have a similar problem. The placement of my two houses is kind of lame. You learn to live with that, haha.

Off topic:

Carina we have almost the same map, yay! I like yours better though,
less ponds and the lake in the middle of the bottom river is awesome. Also that perfect little spot for the camping area!

Amy, I guess I'll get used to it but it's really a pain in the bum...
