My island is messy but..I want to host events

I do that! As long as there's a neat area for the guests to stay (the plaza, etc) then it should be fine!

As long as you’ve got a clean patch for whatever event you plan to host it should work out fine just make sure to clean up any spare items laying around lol

Yes it is. Just make sure the "mess" is out of reach by using fences or anything

I have no problems with it; mine’s a mess too (flowers and items I have up for grabs when I hold event or trade) and is wip and I am working on doing an event myself . I understand the storage problem with diys, and islands being work in progress not to mention storage space issue. Regardless of reason for mess, I don’t judge.
