My Island has the Treasure Chest today

If anyone wants to come over to buy it, I'm taking visitors! Make sure you have the 150 medals needed beforehand though.

Haha yeah, I'd be selling them if I had enough to buy! I'd saved up a little over 150 medals because I'd been on the lookout for the tropical vista, but I don't have more than that. Thought I'd put it out there though if someone's been saving and had no luck finding it!

Oh god, that's the worst feeling- when you need lots of medals for something, but the minigames that actually have decent payouts aren't available.

You'd think that, but at least it's quick! Only 3 minutes for 12 medals isn't too bad. It does get to you after awhile though, I need to be listening to an audiobook or podcast or something or I can't go more than a few tours.

Um sorry to intrude suddenly but what's so good about the treasure chest? Is it rare to appear on the island or does it have value or..?

I have been to my island many times and many club tortimer islands. I have never seen the treasure chest

It rarely shows up for purchase, that's all. Personally I think they look kinda silly, but they are really handy for trading.

It's a rare island item, like the ukelele or kitchen island. It doesn't show up a whole lot, and if it shows up in club tortimer when you don't have enough, it can be frustrating trying to save up enough medals with all the unpredictability there.

Sadly, there's no way I'll get enough medals in time then. I haven't even visited my island since I started my game over, so I have 0 of 150 medals lol. Oh well, I'm sure I'll see the treasure chest appear eventually(And then I shall buy it and pretend I found it while diving for marine life[that would be a cool way to get though, via diving]
