Is sick or something?

It shuts itself down.
Windows Movie Maker and Task Manager won't work.
I'm pretty sure I don't have the Conficker virus, my computer does this a lot.

Virus scan and defragment your computer. Speeds up performance and cleans up almost everything....unless you have Norton...freaking Norton...

Well there has been conflicker virus since 2005 or 2006. So, You probalbly have the later version of it.

I've used Norton for the last 4 years. While it is not the best antivirus, the main reason it gets so ****ted on is it bogging down your computer. Things have changed, in the newer versions I never really notice it slowing anything down.

It's not the performance speed I worry about, it's the protection that Norton offers. It's not really the best out there. I have Norton, but I also have 2 other "back-up" virus protection programs because I don't trust Norton all that well.

This thing needs fixed.

Anyone have Remote Assistance for Windows?
It doesn't work that way.

I have a mac now.
Because that fixes all your problems.
How'd you know?
Except it had nothing to do with it. What you fixed could have been also accomplished by not downloading whatever malware you put on it in the first place, or re-formatting (starting fresh) which is exactly what you did by buying a Mac.

The fail is it had nothing to do with a Mac. A new PC, by following the first thing above would have had the same effect.
