So, I've had this nostalgic feeling for a bit, and I decided to turn on my old SA2B (Sonic Adventure 2: Battle). Upon arrival to my hero garden, my sister walks in, to find one of my chao (and one of Hub's, I have his memory card XD) having a baby. She then opens some old wounds and tells me, "I WANT A CHAO!!!" Now this has happened 3 times before, and when I give her one she always whines every 15 minutes, wanting to go take care of her chao (and believe me, she does a poor job). It goes on for quite a while, until my memory card corrupts and I stop playing. She does the same. The second two times she promised that she wouldn't whine or anything, she breaks those promises the next day. Now she's in the mood to raise a chao again, and I don't know whether to give her one or not. I'm more inclined toward HECK NO, but I don't really know for sure. So should I give it to her or not? (Also she's messed up my own a couple of times)
Tell her if she wants one she's gonna have to raise it on her own. And if she whines, you're going to send the chaos away and never give her another one.
Wow, people still play this game, not just me. Let her have one, but make sure it's got REALLY poor stats so she can't do anything with it, then she'll whine and stop playing it.
Seriously though, let her have one, but don't give her ANY help, when it dies and she whines just say it's her fault.
Alright, I gave my sister 2 chao today. (I gave her a memory card) In just 10 minutes she has thrown her chao thrice, jumped on them, and put them in the water when they can't swim. I think I have made a bad choice.
I'd say the worst of your problems is your memory card. Something's definitely wrong if your data being corrupted is a normal thing for you. I'd invest in a new memory card before anything else. Why bother raising Chao if you have a high risk of losing all of them forever?
