My camper wont move in! help!

(my camper is Astrid, I already love her sm) Ive already played cards with her a few times, and invited her once. I know I'm supposed to keep talking her her and inviting her repeatedly, but i'm not getting that dialogue option. just the same 3 conversations about campfires, shopping, and a heated bidget.

Does anyone have any tips or secretes i don't know about? I logged on really late today and want to sleep T_T.

In my personal experience when I've used amiibos, you have to invite the same villager back 3 times before you can ask them to move in (I think 3rd time is the charm, but I can't remember). I know they have you make them an item each time as well, so that's also normal.

You have to keep talking to her. It's really annoying. It took me about 10 minute to get the prompt to move in for Agnes. If they say no when you ask them to move in, just keep talking to them and they'll give you the prompt to ask them to move in

Just keep talking to her, even if you lose a game which decides her moving in. That's how I got Lucky to move in a while back.

I found that leaving the tent then going back in sometimes means you can start a fresh . I lost a game to Merry and I couldnt get her to agree after but I left and went back In and I eventually ended up gettin her

Yeah I've only moved in one villager from the campsite and it took me a full half hour of spamming A, going in and out of the campsite and playing games. I dread going through that again. I wish they made it a bit less tedious!

It is annoying, but just keep talking to her and play the card game. I had Cheri move in once, and i was there for what seemed like forever trying to get her to agree. It works eventually.
