Multiple StreetPass Move Ins?

so: a few weeks ago, I got my first StreetPass move in from my boyfriend's game: Tipper, who plopped down next to my train station, on top of my trees. I'd forgot all about 10th villagers/SP move ins oops.

the other week, after getting back to 9 villagers (2 move outs, 1 move in) I got ANOTHER StreetPass move in (Gabi) from someone I walked past.


I know that 10th villagers are supposed to be really difficult to get out but does anyone have experience with having several StreetPass villagers?

I've been ignoring Tipper since day 1 (I accidentally talked to her once but my resident hasn't since the introduction) and she's still around. now I'm considering befriending Gabi to see if that speeds things up.




also: is there any way to be able to StreetPass without getting random move ins? I just want houses to shop from in the HHA.

Apparently the 10th villager being difficult to get rid of thing is actually a myth. You can get them out just as easily as your other 9 villagers. This is what I've heard. I do remember being able to get rid of a Streetpass move in within a week, so I have personal experience with it.

There's not really a way to avoid getting random move-ins if you have less than 10 villagers. If you have 10 villagers, you won't be getting any move-ins, obviously. Sadly there's not a real way to avoid it. :c

The only way to keep getting HHA houses without risking move-ins is to have 10 neighbors already in your town. Just out of curiosity, did your StreetPass neighbors move in the day right after you StreetPassed? I wanna know if StreetPass neighbors can move in days after you've tagged someone

^ no idea; I live with my boyfriend so our DSs are constantly StreetPassing each other. but he had Moe move out recently so I'll try to see if/when he pops up in my town.

Oh I think I had this once with Del and Diva. It doesn't matter whether you ignore or befriend them either
