^ What he said. You COULD download it as Mother 2 (like I did but I kept mine in Japanese) and then grab a patcher for it. Besides that I'd download it as Earthbound and get it for the SNES emulator.

As for Mother 1, if you're having a hard time try to find the package of them both or search under Earthbound Zero.

Ah, I see you're getting into quite the Mother craze :S .
Also, I doubt Mother 3 is coming to US. Though, it would be nice to see a Mother Trilogy and Brownie Brown (Co-Company of the Mother series) said it would be great to try out the Mother series.

Neither Mother 3 will be coming to the U.S or Earthbound coming out for the VC. I hate to be the one to break balls but it's the sad honest truth. I wanted Earthbound on the VC too that way I'd have another reason to play the game again.

Wait is this your first time playing the game? If it is then telephones are the method of saving your game.
