more nordic themed clothing and items

So when playing acnh and I have played animal crossing since 2014 with new leaf I noticed something and it's that there seems to be a distinct lack of items and clothing based of the nordic countries especially Sweden where I am from.

Here are some things they should add in future updates for nordic players like me more items based of Swedish and nordic holidays like midsommar but also things like the first may bonfire and celebrating the national day of Sweden.

But what would be even better is if they added clothing items based on nordic folklore creatures such as trolls , näcken(a malevolent being similair to the kappa from japanese mythology in the form of a young nude violin playing man dragging victims underwater with his beautiful music)and the various types of gnomes such as the one that lives at a farm protecting it but also punishing the farmer should he neglect the farm for example by starting fires .

Having some new k.k songs based on traditional music would be pretty helpful too if they added that in the future.

In acnl there were many holidays exclusive to countries such as Japan and Korea that the rest of the world have not experienced so adding this feature in New horizons would be great for animal crossing players from nordic countries.

Even having the option to pick one of the nordic languages whenever you feel like it would be awesome especially for younger kids who don't speak english yet.

I agree with you in that it'd be cool if they added more stuff from other cultures- but it is a japanese game so having traditional japanese stuff and not much traditional items from others does make sense. They probably could localise it a bit more with certain countries events for certian regions, like I think they sort of did in the older games. But then they'd probably be loads of arguments of what and what not to include and localise.

However, at the same time that also clashes with the idea of it being a deserted** island- not exactly part of the rest of the world and having it's own events + festivities. Which to me, I personally love.

True, but It wouldn't be a bad idea to have an "International Day". Have it like a little festival, one day event. It can be on the island or we could take a boat to a corner of the "mainland" and have a few new characters and a few activities or games or items from around the world.

Its a temperate deserted island, not a tropical one. It snows.

For OP - I'm very pro-more holidays and items, but I think a lot of the things you are asking for are very, very specific.

True, but It wouldn't be a bad idea to have an "International Day". Have it like a little festival, one day event. It can be on the island or we could take a boat to a corner of the "mainland" and have a few new characters and a few activities or games or items from around the world.

From some of the data-mines I've seen on twitter, it does look like there might be a boat type thing coming in an update - not confirmed but we can hope it does take you to a mainland area type thing ^^
