Monthly and weekly and seasonal events

I hope there are seasonal, montly and weekly events. Like festivals that happen once per season, or weekly concerts or holiday celebrations.

Some ideas:

Celebrated holidays like Christmas where during the month of December the villagers are busy setting up their Christmas decor and putting up Christmas trees in their yards. Maybe Tom Nook can come into town on the actually Christmas Day riding a slay and hand out gifts to all the residents or the residents can give gifts to each other. On Halloween maybe they could have the same concept only during the month of October the villagers are busy setting up their halloween decor and then on Halloween day you can go to all the villagers and collect treats which are special items and all the villagers are in costumes.

Concerts have already been confirmed, but it would be nice if it was a regular thing. Maybe they could have the occasional music festival where you can go to watch KK Slider play music. I thought a cool idea would be if by going to the concert you are able to purchase a KK Slider album which has a new song each time you attend. The CD can unlock a new song to play on a CD player or radio in the game.

Seasonal festivals, where you gather in a island central location and are able to participate in all kinds of activities, some activities can be multiplayer if you have a friend at the island with you while the event is happening. Some activities could be like a BBQ where you need to bring your own harvested fruits and veggies to pitch in, or maybe you can set up a food stand and sell stuff you crafted, grew, or collected.

Fishing derby, have a contest between villagers and friends where all the people who attend compete to catch the heaviest or largest fish or the most amount of fish.

Anyone else would like to see specific events happen during the year?

i wish they would bring back some of the holidays/events from older games! especially with more fleshing out. they were simple and cute. yay day, bright nights, morning aerobics, flower fest, all of those were so much fun and made the villagers feel more alive.

Oh man I would love if april fools let you do legit pranks. I like to think lazy villagers wont bother, snootys are terrified of getting pranked, crankys are absolutely target #1, uchis get WAAAAAY to into pranking along with jocks, normals do minor pranks like "hey your shoes untied" and probably feel guilty lamo. Maybe smugs try to flirt when it fails epically they go ahaha april fools goTCHA

I MEAN I DOUBT THIS WOULD HAPPEN BUT I WOULD LOVE IF EACH VILLAGER HAD THEIR OWN IDEA OF A PRANK. KINDA IN THE SAME VEIN OF LIKE??? THE COFFEE PREFERENCES, AMOUNT OF SIBLINGS, ETC

I think "The 12 Days of Christmas" would be cool. Not sure what it'd entail but having the lead-up would be fun.

It would be neat to have both new and old events back in New Horizons. I miss some of the ones from Wild World such as La-di-day. An idea I thought of for Toy Day is to have the Toy Day event from New Leaf where you deliver the presents and to have the lights decorating contest from Wild World at the same time. Toy Day is one of my favorite events and it would be great to have more of a variety. I kinda want a Halloween event where you dress up and go trick or treating instead of the one they had in New Leaf. It was OK, but I rather go trick or treating instead. Maybe we could still give Jack some candy too. Those are the only ones I can think of right now.
