Ok, so this game looks really cool reminds me of the days when I played WoW, RuneScape, blah blah blah

So I downloaded the demo - but how the hell do I play O.o

I legit suck and I've played about 15 times and only defeated it once (the easy one haven't tried the hard demo yet) - I know the basic controls, but is there an easier way to play, or do I just suck?

Because this game looks really fun but it's so **** I can't play it

It honestly depends on if you have the Wii U version or the 3DS version.

If you have the 3DS version, you might as well kill yourself if you don't have the Circle Pad Pro.
The 3DS version is terrible, since without the CPP you can't move the camera and move your character at the same time which you HAVE TO BE ABLE TO to play Monster Hunter.

The Wii U version doesn't have this problem since the GamePad (or pro controller w/e) has 2 joysticks so you CAN DO THIS.
It's an essential part of Monster Hunter since you have to look around while you're moving or you WILL die.
I really liked MH3 for the Wii and I'm definitely getting this one.

I agree it can take a while to get used to but it's definitely great fun when you are ready.
Also - the 3DS version doesn't have online play unless you buy this special cord which you connect to the Wii U to play online.
In short - 3DS version sucks, get the Wii U.

Pretty much this.
I'm not a huge fan of MH but I did play both versions and I can assure you that the only way to play this game properly is if it's on the WiiU

Okei thanks for the responses. I'll just wait until I get a WiiU to buy the game ^^

If you're going to get a Wii U, I highly recommend this game. I own every MH game that was released outside of Japan and it's got to be one of my most favorite series of games ever. Takes some time to get used to, but it's well worth it.
Just not on the 3DS. Capcom or Nintendo, or both, really wanted to make sure the 3DS version was so bad it's unplayable. No online, no tutorial in the demo, and close to impossible to play without the circle pad pro.

But the Wii U one would be ideal since the game is made to be played with a controller. I'll be getting it soon. =D

Which literally means you have to not only buy the cord, you have to buy a wii u so the cord will work. Because that is the only way it will connect.
