would someone please remind me how you catch these? i have a vague memory of digging in city folk, but beyond that i don't remember...

so when i hear the mole cricket sound, so i just randomly start digging?

Yes, I hate digging for mole crickets. But listen for when you hear the ringing the loudest and dig dig dig! Good luck.
