I thought Price died in the first one I mean in his last burst of strength he slides you his gun, which you somehow manage to shoot the guy then it just shows you getting airlifted or something outta there.

When I read this I thought he was nuked, not shot.
But he somehow got out of it and helped the SAS. :\ I'm forgetful, how did he not get nuked?

Oh Cobra, strange you should mention that I was just thinking of that today, theres no explanation for that. You were facing the opening of the helicopter you would have gotten it straight in the face nothing to slightly protect you, plus the heli was spinning out of control in real life your arms would have probably ripped out of your sockets.
