I was wondering if anyone knows how much of the information about older characters returning into HHD from the older games is true?? While I know that some are, as I can't remember her name but I did decorate some kangaroos house who was older, I noticed that it said that Stella the sheep was in HHD, but I can find absolutely no official photos of her in HHD. I found one photo that had her in it, but I'm 99% sure it was a hack of some kind because it had fan characters in the picture too...

Iirc, the wiki just lists characters as appearing in the game that are simply within the data of HHD, regardless if they actually appear in the game or not. So some characters, such as Sprocket, who are in the data of HHD are credited on the wiki for appearing in the game, despite not appearing in the game through legitimate means. I think the only villagers that weren't in New Leaf who appear in the game are Maddy, Carrie, Louie, Felyne, Filly and Claude.

Sadly, since anyone can edit that site, and hackers found these villagers in the game code, they were put in, but since they're DLC-only, and with Nintendo now saying they're no longer distributing special design requests:
They may never get unlocked without some kind of cheating device. Remember, there was some shirt never released to New Leaf without Power Save, so the same may be the case with HHD.
