[quote-Zelda Informer]Essentially, Nintendo is going to have employees monitoring every message put into the system, and essentially be doing a moderation approval process for comments made in Miiverse. Now, that doesn?t mean they wont be ?marking? certain accounts for auto approval because they have a history of good behavior - but of course, doing that is just another way around the three layers of protection. In the end, it appears Nintendo is content to protect children by personally monitoring everything. So not only could there be delays (Iwata simply states that 30 minute delays should be acceptable), it also means Nintendo is reading everything we write.[/quote]

Dandy, Nintendo. Just dandy.

Well...personally it may feel like a drag to most of you but I support it because I don't want my myself, little cousins, or anyone's young children seeing anatomy they don't really need to see. On Colors 3D, I am unfortunate enough to see so much pornography its not even funny because they DON'T screen before we are able to post. With the WiiU I'd hope that children don't have to see that crap. It's immature and doesn't belong in the living room. Plus they need not to start reading curse words and begin thinking its okay to write them or say them.

I'm not saying everyone will be drawing nude chicks but there are so many people out there who do because they think its funny. I just don't want to see it.

Also: About them reading everything we post....you don't think that the government or strangers do that already?

Well, they do ask for your age when you join they're community. It all comes down to if you're 18 or older. Also, the 18+ drawings are set to not show, and you have to manually turn on mature content. So, unless some are getting through to the filtered content, I don't see the problem with it.

@Thread: I don't mind. I probably won't be asking others how to beat the game anyway. It's a cool feature and all, but not really something I see myself doing often.

Keep in mind guys, they didn't say if this would apply between friends. I mean, they don't screen Wwapnotes to your friends on the 3DS. I would hope that you would still be able to say what you want without being screened to your friends.

It's probably for that reason this is being implemented. I don't partake in that kind of thing, but after seeing what some folks on the internet do with Swapnote I would not blame them.

I'm talking about the gallery on the 3DS. They don't screen that and don't ask for your age to see the new photos (the screening happens online and will affect whats shown on the 3ds gallery however). Online they do let people screen but not on the 3DS. Btw I do have 18+ drawings set not to show but I still get a lot that slip by ><

Also I agree that they probably won't care to screen between friends. Its just if you post something that anyone can see, they will have to make sure its appropriate for all ages to see/read.
