Medicine from Villagers

I currently have two Uchi villagers in my town: Phoebe and Frita, and they're great to go to when I've been stung by a bee because I haven't caught it in time while shaking trees.

However, I wanted to know if any of you guys have ever gotten medicine from any of your non-Uchi villagers? Because it strangely happened to me today.

I was shaking my trees, which I do every day, and I didn't catch the bee in enough time and got my poor little face stung. Mathilda was in the area and I usually wait until I've shaken all the trees to see about medicine (again, going to either Phoebe or Frita) just in case. But I accidentally prompted a conversation with her when she was next to the tree I was shaking. Going through the conversation she said "here, take this, it'll make you feel better" and gave me medicine.

Mathilda is a snooty kangaroo. When I asked a friend of mine, who also plays, she said she never heard of a non-Uchi giving medicine, so I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this, or if I was a glitch?

Either way, I'm certainly not complaining!

I've gotten medicine from a lot of other villagers. I've gotten them from peppy, lazy, normal, and uchi villagers. Snooty and Cranky villagers are usually the ones that make fun of me or tell me to get medicine without giving them to me.

It's also good to know that my snooty didn't make fun of me but was nice and helped my face.

My friend said that she and a couple of other people have been trying to track personality trait habits since the games' release and hadn't heard of a non-uchi villager helping out and giving medicine. That's the reason I wanted to ask about other people's experiences.

I think all villagers can give you medicine, it's just that with Uchi villagers you're more certain to get it.

Uchi villagers give medicine even you wouldn't be that good friends. But once I got medicine from Francine, even she's snooty, cause we are besties Sometimes even jocks can give it.

I've gotten medicine from Lucy before, who is a normal.
Oh and also from Olivia, snooty.

Punchy gave me some medicine the other day, which surprised me. I was also under the impression only uchi's gave medicine. Still, considering all the furniture I've gifted that cat, the apples I've fed him, the letters I've written and the number of times I've been his host and guest, he damn well should have considered me someone worth giving medicine to.

I was also surprised that Mathilda was the one giving me medicine because she hasn't been in my town that long (she followed me home from my friend's town), and I haven't gone out of my way to be BFFs with her. But it was definitely a pleasant surprise!

Thanks for all the info guys! It's great to know that more than just an uchi can fix me up when I've been stung.
