May Day Event

I have never been offered a ticket by Tom Nook to go to the island for May Day. Has anyone else had this problem ? Thanks Tim

To add to this, you also need to have an active internet connection for the game to detect and enable the event.

did you check the airport? they would say they have the ticket holding it on for your

Try updating the game again by pressing the + button on the switches main menu.
And go talk to Tom Nook after that.

I don’t really know what to tell you if that doesn’t work.

I figured as much since it was released a week ago, but it's always worth checking the simple stuff first.

Hmm. Do you time travel at all? Some people have mentioned that TTing causes some time-sensitive events to not work properly in some cases.

I have two switches (with two islands), and while the one connected with my Nintendo account got a May Day ticket, the other one (which is not connected to any Nintendo account) didn't. I hadn't thought of that before as a possible reason, but after reading the above post, and Googling it, yes, the lack of connection to a Nintendo account apparently is the problem.
