Trading Marshall

Hiya, I'm new here, so I apologize if I do anything wrong! But anyway, yes, I have the extremely sought-after marshmallow squirrel, and I'm hoping to trade him for Julian. However, he hasn't asked about moving out recently, and I don't know if there's a way to make him move or how...

He has his original catchphrase ("sulky"), and mostly original house. He's wearing unoriginal clothes but I think that could be fixed by saying his clothes are "inappropriate" to Isabelle?

Also, once I get rid of Marshall, I'm going to reset and make a town...which kind of complicates things. Julian would be moving into the new town. Is that doable? ​

Sadly, I don't have Julian, so I can't take on your offer. I just wanted to tell you that there is a way to move him into your new town after you reset. You could give the person Marshall first and have them hold onto Julian while you reset. Once you're ready to take him into your new town they could just give him to you. I think this is what they would call "holding villagers" heh.
