I had that with Fauna. She wasn't a dreamie or anything and when she randomly moved in when I was TT'ing, my first thought was "Luckily she's popular, so I should be able to find someone who wants her real soon!" Until I talked to her and went "OMG, so adorable! Keeping forever, yes yes yes!" -_-'

When I first saw him as my starter I fell In love with him. He's adorable. He looks grumpy but he's so cute

I never really knew who he was until I noticed his popularity here, and then I saw multiple pictures and fell in love! If he hadn't been named here I don't think I even would have known he was a character, except for that fact that I searched up a whole New Leaf villagers list.
And then he moved into my town and I was like ajfakfghalhgj he's so CUTE!~ It was really sad to lose him, though. I hope he never forgets me! It was quite sweet when I went to his birthday party. He told me he would never forget it! <3
I'm going a bit overboard now...so I'll stop. But Marshal, Merengue, and Ankha are really the only popular villagers I'm fond of. And Tangy, if she's as high up on the popularity ranking. I've never liked Julian, though - I'm not sure why.

I have Tangy, I got her in a trade for Muffy. I just wanted to give Muffy away, I didn't know who Tangy was but she is pretty cute and is growing on me.
