He's only worth the top amount if he's original though, same as with any other villager. Otherwise you're looking at paying a bit less especially since a lot of people like him for his furniture

Ah, we have all had such desperate times! I paid over the odds for Lopez and he wasn't original. It really depends what a villager is worth to the person.
Look around the 150 mark
