Hey guys, I've been resetting and I've seen 3 ok maps. Which one should I choose and where should I put the campsite, police station and brewsters?

EDIT: WHERE SHOULD I PUT MY HOUSE? ;_; I chose map 3, btw!

I think what ever you choose will be great. Think about the choices, I'd say 3 looks really good. My map is similar to number 2 and I love it, but the space between the river and the cliff will be an issue later. Trust me. I had villagers move in there and it was super cramped!

If you go with 3, you could put the campsite near the station on the coastal side.

I think the style of the police station will dictate where you put it. A modern one should be close to town hall to emphasis order and planning, but a rustic one should be out randomly in the town to emphasis that laid back and loose country/foresty feel.

Brewster's would be good anywhere, but if you put it near the river be sure it's about 4-5 squares away from it if you want to place a bridge. (I messed up in my town and put him one space too close to where I wanted to put a bridge.)

Those are some of my thoughts. Good luck picking your map!

Okay, thank you! I am now choosing between 1 and 3!

I really like 1, but it doesn't have a connected beach which bothers me, but 3 has lots and lots of open space for PWPs and I'll probably mess it up! :c

I would personally go with number 2 or number 3. Number 2 if I want a really streamlined town, and number 3 because of the placement of everything. I mean, both of them are really well designed (how on EARTH did you get them at the SAME TIME?), but I'm really partial to a town with the plaza in the center of it. That's how my town is, and I absolutely adore it. My map is different from yours, though, and I'm going for a heavily forested town. So, that may not really work for you.

The problem with both of these maps comes with villager placement. It would be weird if you didn't have your villagers all on one side of the river. So, just be aware of that when you start them.

If I absolutely had to pick one of them, I would pick 3. I love everything about it.

3 it is! :D Thank you so much for the input ;u;

(And I got them at the same time because luck?? IDK maybe the animal crossing gods gave me mercy because i have been trying for 2 days straight im so pissed smh)

And I'm actually going for a natural, laid back town! Not too much bushes, trees, etc. Everything in moderation. Would 3 work with that?

2 DAYS HOLY WHAT GOOD LORD

I really do think 3 would work fantastic with it! Like I said, I have a similar one and it's doing me very well, personally. Unfortunately I messed up on the placement of my house, so I think I need to restart my town, but you shouldn't have the same problem I have at all since there's a ton of room on the side of the river where all those villagers are!

Good luck! I'm happy to help! <3

Alright thank you so much! Where do you suggest i put my house? ;u;

AND HAHAH I KNOW I WAS SO ANGRY AND I ALMOST GAVE UP I WANTED TO SMASH MY COPY

Hmm...well, a lot of things go into where to put a house, though I think basically anywhere on the side with the villagers, town hall, and Re-Tail works for you.

But if it still worries you, I'll give you a quick guide on how I choose my house:

What I do first is focus on where NOT to go. I think one of the bigger factors for you would be where you'd want to put your bridges. Don't put your house too close to the river where you'd want your bridge, as it could ruin that plan. Maybe even sketch out on paper where you want your PWPs to go.

I also pay attention to where I would want villagers moving in, as the villagers like to pick areas where others live to place their houses. If you want more villagers in the lower part of town, maybe put your house there or at least a little in the middle to even out the spread.

8 times out of 10 I pick the perfect spot for me!
