Making Tile Pathways

How do you make your own tiles? All I can make are Pro Designs for clothing and I want to make my own pathways and flags. Can someone please point me in the right direction? Thank you.

Don't talk to Mable... just edit a pattern in the inventory area to get the basic designs... and they are free to do.

you can edit a design if you just go to them without being in the shop. click on a design you don't want and press edit. you can change it to a hat, umbrella, shirt, or sign if you look up in the left corner. sorry if this isn't clear lol

sorry, I'm still confused. I already talked to Mabel and have the QR code machine does that mean I am too late? I can't edit the patterns outside of the shop, or anywhere for that matter.

I'm guessing you're trying to edit a design from a QR? You can't edit designs you haven't created yourself.

Tap the "Pencil Icon" > Tap an "Image" > Select "Redesign" or "Delete Pattern". Then you should be able to edit it. If it isn't your pattern, then you can't edit it. Once the canvas shows up, there will be an icon on the upper left hand corner. Tap it to change the image from a shirt, hat, umbrella, or canvas.

Steps to make a path:
1) Click on the pink pencil icon
2) Select a pattern
3) Choose Redesign
3a) If you chosen to redesign a pro-design a message will pop up saying "It will no longer be a pro desgn if you alter it. Continue anyway?" Choose "yes"
4) Draw the path/tile
5) Select "Done" and name your path
6) Stand over an empty grass space and select on the path design you just made
7) Select "Display on Ground"

There is NO Redesign choice on any of the patterns I have.

Then erase the design, and then choose redesign.

Then you should be able to erase them and then make whatever you like on a blank canvas.
