Senbiiscool, when kicking out Raymond how did you do it? Did you just ignore and then TT until he left?

Ignoring villagers doesn't make them move. It only resets your friendship level. An example is I wouldn't move out of my town IRL just because 1 person in the town stopped talking to me. They move whenever the RGN picks them

You know, if you don't like smugs much, really like all of these villagers except Raymond because he doesn't fit your island, and Raymond is the only one you're not sure you'd miss... I'd have to go with Raymond for you to kick. He might show up in your campsite or a mystery island again someday, or you might find someone selling him for a more affordable price if you do happen to miss him! If you're set on keeping him maybe Fang because of too many crankies, but I love Fang so I'd be keeping him if it were me!

definitely Raymond, if you don’t feel that much love towards him and need to kick a smug then if I were you I’d choose him. You’d definitely be able to find him a good home too as he’s so popular!

I would keep Raymond, because once the amiibo glitch is gone, you could get almost all villagers except the 8 new ones. If youre looking to sell Raymond for a fortune, now is the time, because he will go down eventually and if they release his amino card, it will be easier to find if you regretted later.

idk dude...the strawberry horn just creeps me out somehow. Out of all the unnatural features on villagers, it always weirded me out somehow.

Personally I would either kick out Raymond or Merengue. Raymond because you are not too keen on smug villagers and to be honest I don't like his design too much. If you really want another smug villagers there's a ton of other great choices. For Merengue, I don't like her design too much either, there's other rhinos I like more! And you really could get her again through the forum.

since you want 2 smugs, i would vote for kicking Julian out. How long did you have Raymond for? if he is recent then maybe you didnt have enough time to figure out if you like him or not, and like you said getting him again would be hard if you ended up missing him.

I would kick out Raymond. Plus, you could probably auction him off for a lot of bells or NMT since he is very highly sought after.

Villagers typically want to move every two weeks or so, so I TT 15 days to look for a ping and then one day at a time if I don't get any. If the ping happens and I don't want the villager to go, I ask them to stay. Then I TT another 15 days, etc. If it is the one I want to go, I tell them to leave. Hope that helps!

Thanks to everyone's replies and input! I'm sorry for not closing this thread a little sooner (I forgot)! I've decided to kick out Raymond since as most of you said, I think his novelty was blinding me from choosing him I won't be auctioning him, but giving him to a friend that has done a lot for me
