Lyle is not showing up in Nooks Homes store..

Why is he not showing up?

.. is it because I never entered my tent? I just straight payed off the 10k down payment, and then I entered my house the next day. Then isabelle gave me the wallpaper but she never gave me the lantern. Is this one of the causes of this problem? How else can I bring Lyle to show up in Nooks shop?

you have another loan, you need to pay ff before he shows up. It's like 39,000 or something.

Yeah it's the loan, when you pay that off Tortimer will show up, and the next day (after talking to him) you can go to the island.
