1.A Getting Started
1. After you do all that hoo-ha (plant the plaza tree, plot & build house, do isabelle's advice although it isn't required.) You have to get your Approval Rating to start building PWPs (Public Work Projects). You can do the following to get a higher AR:
-Water flowers
-Talk to villagers/do tasks
-Post on the bulletin board
-Donate to the museum
-Sell to retail
-Paying off your second loan
-Change Town Tune
-Change Town Flag
-Pick up trash (from rivers/ocean with fishing rod)
The things in italic are the things that will only get you a higher rating once. Donating to the museum and talking to villagers are the things you have to do the most.
Thats all I have so far... the rest is up to you.

1 Choose a map you like, there are about 4 maps you can choose from
2 Use this face guide for the face you want, the questions will determine your face.
3 Make sure you like your town name, character name, and everything you chose, once you start theres no going back (unless you reset lol)
1.B Decorating Your Town
1. You can go to the island after you unlock it (wait about 5 days I think and when you start the game Tortimer will talk to you.) and go on certain tours, which have flowers and fruit you can take home.
2. You can get tour medals from completing tours, which for 3-8 medals will buy you a bush start (if its there)
1.C Miscalleneous
1. When you get 60 medals you can get the Club Tortimer Membership, which is there everyday (its the paper). What it does is the next time you go to the island you have an option to go there with other people, worldwide or just in your country.
