Luck with Campsite

I really like the campsite. I've started to rely on the camp trick to find villagers I'd like opposed to on here. My first campsite was random and it was Diana. Then I did the trick and found a few ones I didn't want like Chow, Quillson, Elise, etc. But after maybe an hour one day I decided to let Stitches and Pekoe in and the next day within an hour total time I had found Freya and Marshal as well. I'm really thankful because it saved me a lot of time trying to outbid people or just lurking. However, I'm stopping that for now. I'm pretty happy with my villagers. The only one I don't really love is Hugh. I'm going to let it play out for a bit.

I've only had villagers I don't care for much in mine. It doesn't matter either way though because the villager in my town I want to move out will never leave so I can't replace him anyway. Ughhh

Yeah Hugh does the same to me. Even when he pinged me, he said he's staying when I told him to go.

you are very lucky! i've never done the campsite trick per say, though i've kind of indirectly done it while resetting for villagers. but even then i've never gotten more than like 2 or 3 really popular villagers (marina and chrissy are the ones i'll always remember). also never invited them in because i didn't want them enough to have them as my 10th through the campsite.

Yeah I had Erik too but I didn't want him enough to let him in. I already had Bam and like him better really.

Trust me I really like Erik. My cousin has him and I watched him play. I didn't want him enough to take a spot though. I later the 4 mentioned above so I was happier with them. Pekoe was my biggest surprise. I was on the fence about inviting her but I couldn't resist.

I just wish campers appeared more often. Sometimes two weeks go by before someone shows up. It's always hit-or-miss. In my first town, I had Marshal, Marina and Mira move in. In my current town, I've invited Willow and Filbert in. I've had other popular villagers show up, but I didn't want them. Right now I have 10 villagers, so it's time to kick someone out! I want Charlise and Freya gone.

I keep getting popular villagers in my campsite that I don't really want, but that's cool because I've been giving them to people who do. Still waiting for Mitzi to one day grace my presence.

I had Ankha move in via campsite about an hour ago, TT a little, Tangy's camping and she moves in! Talk about luck ;p lol

I haven't had much luck with my campsite. The one time I had a villager camping that I wanted, I was plotting resetting for a new move in so I wasn't able to keep the camper.
