Lucario's quite a valuable Pokemon, as it's rare, and in Pokemon X and Y, Lucario is introduced in a very emotional manner. Regardless of that, different people would have different views of this Pokemon.
I'm not really into Pokemon as much as I used to be and I'm not into the competitive scene, but I always thought he was really cool looking if that counts as a vote xD
It's pretty good for playing throughout the story, but I've destroyed every Lucario I've ever encountered in competitive play. It's still one of my favorite pokemon though ^~^
Meh. I only base my preference on pokemon on if I think they look cool or not-he's okay. Kinda boring, but better than most generation 1 and 2 pokemon. :3
Ever since he was shown in the anime, I've loved Lucario. Not only that, but he's crazy viable competitively, AND he's in Smash (Smash 4 too!) Speaking of, if this is partly because of Smash 4 - a lot of people would rather have Mewtwo than him, but honestly, I much preferred his playstyle, and Mewtwo played pretty poorly in Melee - if they add him back, I hope he gets seriously revamped, maybe a bit like his play style in Project M. Sorry for all the Smash jargon that a lot of you may or may not understand by the way
smogon is a site. there are 2 metas i guess. smogon and VGC. VGC is the normal nintendo format. smogon mostly uses singles with rules and have tiers. (uber, overused, underused, rarely used, never used) and yeah strong pokemon in the OU tier and overpowered pokemon in the uber tier. mega lucario was banned to ubers for being too powerful. this isnt rly a smogon thread so im gonna keep it short
Competitive wise I don't think he's half bad. ESpeed gives great priority, couple that with a 90 BP never miss special attack and you have one great Pok?mon. Fighting types usually have better physical than special defense, so I mean, he's not bad, but IMO there are some better nonlegendaries out there (JOLTEON!)
