I watched/read Loveless years ago when I was a sophomore in high school. I was always disappointed that the anime wasn't continued to the arcs covered in the manga (or that even the manga wasn't continued and further fleshed out). Anyone else here familiar with it?

I read the first volume and watched a few episodes when I was a freshman. It was awful.

Haha, it was kind of awful in a lot of ways. The age difference between the two main characters being one of them :o But I've always felt like it had great story potential.

Yick, I had a friend in seventh grade who introduced me to the series. I thought it was pretty bad writing-wise, and the romance between the main character and that other guy put me off a lot.

:(

Well now I feel bad for asking...

o: Don't! I read it awhile ago, and I actually looked it up to see how it had developed since then. It seems that a lot of people have given it good reviews, so it may have gotten better after the first volume. I think the major thing that would stop me from reading it would be the relationship between Ritsuka and Soubi.

I wasn't really okay with the age difference between Ritsuka and Soubi either, but after getting a little older it's not that big of a deal to me (it's just fiction, after all).

The fight and spell mechanics I thought got increasingly cool with each addition.

i think i tried reading it once

i gave up

it just didnt catch my interest, the guy seemed like an ******* so i was like "whatever"

also wasnt it that they had cat ears if they still had their "virginity"???? like wow what that concept is so terrible what even

I'm not a fan of yaoi/shounen ai/BL/whatever the heck you wanna call it-'s that follow the "young, short/slender and helpless "uke" + older, tall and jerky "seme"" cliche, personally... They're too predictable, and the forceful "seme"s really creep me out. ಠ_ಠ (like seriously, man. No means no. Eff off.)

But to each their own, I guess. >_>
