What is School Idol Festival?

Love Live! School Idol Festival is a rhythm game/CCG hybrid for Android and iOS, that lets you collect and "idolize" cards. You play as the manager for μ's (pronounced Muse), a nine-member school idol group, as they gain popularity. The music is your standard j-pop musume group fare, although I've found that a lot of the songs in this game are really catchy. There is also an anime based on the game and music videos, Love Live! School Idol Project.


Who here plays? Who did you start with? Is anyone furiously trying to getting the current event card? Discuss the game and/or exchange IDs here!

So I've been playing this game roughly since it came out in the US, around the end of 2014. I've since lost my original account due to a phone error (sadness), but I'm curious if there's anyone else here who plays this game. I started with Nozomi both times (although I almost went Eli, because I adore them both). Nozomi, Eli and Honoka are my favorites.

OMG!!!! I'm so happy you made this thread!! I was actually debating about making one myself if no one has made one yet!!! I've been playing since February of this year, so only for 4 months so far!~ Currently going after the Eli SR card! I know for sure I'll get it. I'm not planning on placing on tier 1/tier 2 since I'm waiting for the blue tickets to come out on the EN server!~ <3

I started with Nico!~ It was my first account and I've sticked with it so far <3 Honestly I chose Nico cause I thought she was super cute and I think I'm somehow more attracted to twin tails hahaha!~ Unfortunately, I didn't watch the anime first, so I didn't know what she was like ; __ ; I didn't really like her personality. I got so addicted to this game that I started watching the anime as well. <3 I'm so glad I watched the anime since now I know all their personalities and their stories hahaha!

I chose Hanayo at the start and with my first scouting ticket (The one you get at the start) gave me a super rare Honoka.

OHH!!!! That's so lucky!!! I never once got a SR or UR with a scouting ticket ; v; Scouting tickets always only give me Rares ; __ ; But I got super lucky on my first day since I pulled an UR Umi!! <3 I had a lucky week and got 2 URs within a week <3 It was beginner's luck hahaha
