Lost Villager?

Is it possible for villagers that you've gotten from other people to "disappear" and never show up? I convinced Static to move to my town from a friend's a while ago (I had room/ 9 villagers). More and more random move-ins kept happening, and Static never showed. What gives?

Streetpasses interfer with villager move in, along with if a person on your ACNL asked a camper to move in before you asked Static to move in. Or ACNL hates you xD

It happened with me and Beau. I had someone holding him for me as I switched towns and he never showed up. Only Zucker did.

If you invited Zucker and Beau in the same day, then you overwrote Beau's invitation and replaced it with zuckers.


Personal invites to the town -as in, you tell a villager to move in- supersede streetpass or random move ins.

Someone probably street passed you and gave you a different villager. >.>
