Lost Contact

I have a trade arranged with another user on here and I told them I'd contact them once the villager they were looking for pinged. However, I no longer have their messages in my inbox or the ones I sent in my outbox--I must have accidentally deleted them. Is there a thread for situations like this, or will I just have to put a note in my signature and poke around the forum while hoping for the best?

I don't remember their username, avatar, signature, etc. I don't remember whether or not we exchanged friend codes, either. Has anyone been in this situation before? What did you do?

Did you originally reply to a post and then continue the conversation through private messages? If so, you can browse your post history from the closest date you remember and try to find the thread. If not, you would either have to wait for them to message you or post a message on your signature. Hope this helps

Unfortunately, I don't think a replied to a post before messaging them. ): I suppose I'll just have to hope they message me soon or I run into them eventually. Thank you for your response!
