Im looking to visit redd on multiple islands. I don't need real art necessarily, i just really like to have the art and statues around my island

Unless you TT, you can only buy one art per day. So say you go to Island 1 and buy art there, you won't be able to buy art from Island 2 unless you TT to the next day to "clear" your queue of art.
