Hi! I need some game suggestions.
I already have:
Nintendogs + cats Toy Poodle and Friends (Im a 17-year-old child. :P)
ACNL, of course
Pok?mon SoulSilver

I am definitely going to buy Mario Kart 7 sometime soon, but do you have any more suggestions?
I am not very good at Pok?mon, unfortunately.
I like quality games, but, who doesn't?

I was wondering what Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon is like?
Thanks!

Don't bother with Luigi's Mansion, especially if you played the first one for the GC already. The gameplay is cool, but it gets repetitive fast and the mission design feels like a drag compared to the openness of the old game. The 3D and the different areas are great, but you would probably be better off buying something else.

Go with Fire Emblem: Awakening if you're into strategy games or have liked any previous installments of the series, or Super Mario 3D Land if jump-and-runs are your thing.

I could list some games you might like, but I think you should go to the site of whichever game store you go to, and look at which games are interesting to you. It would be a lot easier than asking us, as you will probably not like some of the stuff we recommend. Especially Pokemon.

Pokemon X and Y.
Pokemon X and Y.
Pokemon X and Y.
Pokemon X and Y.
It'll be definitely worth buying! :D

Well for what I liked and own currently(other than ACNL)....

Luigi's Mansion 2: Dark Moon...I agree w/ what a lot Kurugaya said but still find it to be an enjoyable and worthwhile game.
Super Mario 3D Land
Castlvania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate
Resident Evil: Revelations

If I were you, I wouldn't pick up MK7. It's a major letdown, all you have to play is battle and Grand Prix mode, which get old quickly. They dropped Vs. mode (where it's a custom race), in order to get the game to ship in time.
I'd go with Fire Emblem: Awakening, easily tied with New Leaf as the best game I've played on the system, if not surpassing it.

Fire Emblem Awakening. If you decide to play classic then be prepared to slam furniture around you.

Shin Megami Tensei IV, enough said here.

Best game I played, the cutscenes are simply astounding, but the battles are kind of 16-bitish, you know, how they take turns using attacks.

Etrian Odyssey IV or Etrian Odyssey Untold. Both have demo's on the e-shop but word of warning. They are very old school in terms of gameplay. It's a first person dungeon crawler, you draw your own maps and it's challenging.

Fire Emblem and Shin Megami Tensei IV are fantastic games. If you want some platformers then Donkey Country Returns is amazing and New Super Mario Bros. 2 is great and really tough at times! You could also check out Rune Factory 4 which is a spin off of Harvest Moon so there is farming and marriage but also dungeon crawling too.

I agree with this. I never played the first but the mission structure got tiresome and made the game kind of predictable.

For platformers, there is Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, Super Mario 3D Land, and New Super Mario Bros. 2. I have to say about the last one though, that I wish it was of similar quality to New Super Mario Bros. U.

I know you said you aren't good at Pokemon, but think about giving Pokemon X or Y a try. If you need any help, I'm sure there are plenty of people on here (myself included) that would be willing to lend a hand.

I could help if needed with X and Y. Also, you can always purchase a strategy guide book for it.

What's so different about Pok?mon X and Y compared to past Pok?mon games?

Some kind person put all the new features in a picture. It may contain a few spoilers, however, so open it at your own risk. Nothing major though.

Like Kurugaya showed but I don't understand how you can be bad at Pok?mon. Pok?mon has never been hard really. The only goal in the game really is to fill the Pokedex!

X and Y are a given and considering everyone is hounding you to get it I won't bother trying to sell you on it.

Fire Emblem was pretty easy to pick up and play if you're new to the series thanks to the "Casual" difficulty. Story was pretty entertaining, gameplay was solid, and if you itch for more there's previous titles and DLC!

Unless you've played a Shin Megami Tensei game, I would err on the side of caution. They're usually unforgiving games even on their easiest difficulty, but the story and gameplay is very solid.

Tales of the Abyss, port of the PS2 version, is a very lengthy and interesting RPG that is pretty fun. Solid 3DS port and I believe Amazon has it for $20 today.

Mario-wise get Super Mario 3D Land, skip New Super Mario Bros Rehash, if you plan on getting Mario Kart 8 skip 7, and if you want a Mario RPG get Mario and Luigi not Paper Mario.

Fire Emblem: Awakening, Pokemon X/Y, NSMB2 or Super Mario 3D Land, Pokemon Rumble Blast. I've had good experiences with all of these {except for X/Y, but let's face it, they're awesome} so I recommend them.

Most of the games mentioned are the games I'd recommend. I'll just recommend the ones that aren't mentioned, then. XD

I'd also suggest giving Kid Icarus: Uprising a try. It's an action/shooting/puzzle game with a story that doesn't take itself seriously (or so they'd want you to think), but it can be quite entertaining and compelling. It's also very friendly to newbies as the difficulty settings can be easily altered between levels, and would lower itself if you die at a chapter.
