Does anyone have perfect fruit in their town? Any type of fruit will be fine.

Also, if you store perfect fruit at, say, a dresser, will they rot? Or will they stay available for eating/selling?

Fruit will not rot in your dresser, however (Just FYI turnips will eventually)
