Hello! I feel like my town could use some more work on it, so I'm looking for some people to review it for me.
I would love it if in your own time you could visit it and critique it and give me some more tips on how to make my town seem more appealing.
My dream code is in my signature. :D

Love love love your town!! The flowers and tree placement is very good and your public work projects are very pretty! The only thing I didn't like was you path choice... I would go with something more natural and bright and less grey. The grey doesn't make the town look nice and fresh and that's what you want :) but all in all 9/10 (-1 point for paths)

Thanks for your opinion! What kind of path do you think would look nice with the flower arch? c:

Okay, so I've just finished looking around your town! :)

I made you a list of what's good and what can be improved to help you.

What I liked about your town

~ The greenery
It's very bright and colourful. There are a variety of fruits (and rare flowers, so kudos to you!), and I've spotted no trash on the floor. Your town is very deserving of its Perfect Town status!
~ The placement of Public Work Projects
~ Your town tune
Very peppy and upbeat!

What could be improved

~ The paths
Since you have many paths leading everywhere and a lot of flowers, this can disadvantage you. Snowballs might not appear as much, and bugs could be harder to catch. Also, the path is kind of dark, and there's not a border around the path in some areas.
~ Placement of some greenery
The way the bushes and trees are shrouding the pathway to the bell is nice, but it can be a little restricting -- for instance, if you happen to see a rare bug on one of the trees, it can be hard to catch them.

Overall, I found your town very nice. However, I think the following things wouldn't hurt.

* Fewer "jagged" paths
This is more a personal preference, but maybe try and keep your paths straighter instead of moving them a bit.
* A second path
While I personally am a fan of the path you're using, and I think the sort of "city" feel is cool, I think your town could do with some other type of path - possibly a natural one, which would look especially nice by your camping area. If you don't want to use pattern slots, maybe wear down the grass to make truly natural paths.
* Work on the beach
In contrast to the rest of the town, it's always disappointing to see a beach where's there's little more than some trees.
* Different time
Maybe upload it at a different time, since you seem to have a lot of things like the Illuminated Heart and streetlamps that are okay during the day, but that would look much better at night.
* More PWPs
Maybe I missed something, but I barely saw any PWPs that weren't streetlamps. Again, maybe work on making part of your town more natural and get rid of the lamps there. While they're nice, since there's a limit, I would use the space you have for more interesting things.

Although some of these things may seem nit-picky, like I said, I did enjoy your town, but I do hope you continue to work on and improve it.

Over all, you've got a cute town. c: It's coming along great.

Likes
- The front of your Town Hall with the bushes & fountain
- Nice arrangement of trees, neatly placed
- Your front room looked classy
- Your upstairs looked lovely too, a very warm feel

Criticisms
- The path running down to Nate's house could use come bushes in the middle, or bushes & flowers alternating
- Add some more PWP & hybrids
- More flower colour coordination

kiyo's review

What I liked:
✿ we have the same town plaza area (lol) and the rock next to it! cool~
✿ your town flag! :3 kind of looks familiar but don't know what it is
✿ the placement of the police station is very nice
✿ i also love your house exterior, and all areas of the house, the
color co-ordination in every room is perfect! *O*
✿ the pattern in which trees are placed, very nice how it aligns with path

What I think can be worked on:
✿ paths seemed a bit dull to me, but they are nicely placed
✿ instead of just throwing a bunch of random flowers together, maybe
you could stick to certain types or colors? i think it would make your town look better c:
✿ possibly add more pwp / bushes
✿ i think your town would look better when it's not snowing, the paths create too much
of a contrast compared to the snow in my opinion

Overall rating: 8/10 <3
lots of room for improvement!~

Okay ^__^ goodluck in finding the right paths!
Hmmm.. maybe you could add a playground if that interests you.
What pwp's have villagers requested so far? o:

Overall I liked your town! I can tell you've put plenty of effort into it, which is always nice to see :)
Here are some of my opinions! (Sorry if I offend you in any way ;-; )

Pros:
- Lots of flowers. It's hard for a town to look good when it doesn't have many flowers, because they're pretty and they fill in empty spots. So good job using lots of them.
- Well-placed PWP's. For example, I love that cute little metal bench overlooking the river by your house. I also really like the fountain in front of town hall. That's such a nice touch!
- Your house. The outside has a cute, cottagey vibe that I love! I'd suggest changing the mailbox to a log one though, I think that would fit in better. And the inside was beautiful! Very elegant :3

Cons:
- Flowers are sort of random. I like that you used a lot of them, but there aren't really many rare ones and none of them are color/species coordinated. They don't have to be rare, expensive hybrids - I once saw a town that only used white and purple flowers (common ones like white pansies, white lilies and purple violets), and that town looked amazing. So even if you don't have the time or money for hybrids, I suggest you try to color coordinate areas of town a bit more. It looks sort of busy and clustered with the way the flowers are now.
- One random PWP. I like most of your PWP placement, but there was one that just felt strange to me: the stone tablet. I almost didn't even notice it because it's so hidden. I suggest you get rid of the tree and bushes in front of it and put some trees/bushes to the sides of it instead.
- The paths. Sorry, I know a ton of other people have already mentioned this, but I agree that they need some work. I would choose a different design. Also, there's just way too many of them to me. You probably laid the paths in the places that you walk over the most, which makes perfect sense, but it ended up looking too...pathy. In my opinion, a path should almost never be more than two wide, and a lot of yours are three. You have paths going both behind and in front of buildings, which seems excessive in my opinion. They're also very jagged in places, which I'm not a fan of. I think it looks best when there are a few straight, main paths leading around town, maybe with a few side paths leading off here and there (with the side paths being a different, more natural pattern). I also think paths look weird when they're put over the cobblestone (plaza, in front of station, etc.), and I've always thought it looks better when they just pass next to the cobblestone. (This is what I mean by pass next to it: http://tinyurl.com/muyxyf7)

And that's all I have to say about that! I hope this was at least a little helpful :blush:

Also: I noticed someone else said something about adding to the beaches. I agree! I don't think it takes away from the town when the beaches are empty, but it's still nice to find some patterns or flowers or something down there. Not a big deal or anything though.
Here are a few random beach qr codes that you can consider using if you'd like:

Anyway, good luck perfecting your dream town! You're off to a great start. Have fun :3

Maybe not the video screen or anything modern, I've decided to give my town a more rustic look to it.
Sigh... now that I think about it, I wish I chose the classic police station.
But no, I'm forever stuck with the shiny modern metal one. XD :p
