I'm getting sick of having to clear out my friends list every couple of weeks due to people who have added me but never played with me.

I am looking for people who I can genuinely get to know whilst playing New Leaf.
I don't have my own internet connection though, so I'm on most afternoons/evenings UK time.

I can understand your quarrel, but I don't think expecting someone to always play with you is a good base for a friendship. Having to meet someone every night, or every other night, can become very tedious. Whenever I'm longer than 20 minutes in someone's town I get homesick because there's not much to do there, but perhaps that says more about me than about friendship.
