To be honest I've never TTed further than a day. Do you think my flowers will die? If not then I'd gladly TT ahead 4 days.

If you have the beautiful ordinance in place, the flowers won't be affected. You'll have an extra couple of weeds and your police station might have some extra stuff in it.

You can make 2 jumps of 2 days each, that pretty much guarantees no ill affects, just try to avoid talking to Gigi.
