Looking for a dream town that isn't "cute"

I love looking at dream towns for inspiration for my own, and as much as I adore cute and fantasy/fairytale towns, I'm always looking for towns that are village-like and..I'm not sure how to describe it but very natural and beautiful and realistic.

Specifically, my main inspiration has always been The Shire from the Lord of the Rings/Hobbit c:

I'm always looking for Lord of the Rings themed towns, too. I've found a really wonderful one before searching by town name in the Dream Suite but if anyone here has a themed town or just a town that isn't "cute" I'd really love to check it out! and I'll tell you my favorite parts. Yesterday I've seen a YouTube video about a Dream Town with a horror theme. It was so well-made, let me check if I can find it..

edit: nope, can't find it. All I can remember was that it was a town from Japan. But if you search horror town on YouTube, you'll get plenty dream addresses!

My town is currently in a long wip status (because my villagers fail to suggest PWPs). It only has a pathway, water well, fountain, and permanent PWPs right now. I'm doing something toward the earthy side of things, maybe farm-like (due to my obsession with Harvest Moon) with a dark-brown and light brown color scheme. Flower-wise, I'm thinking of white, yellow, orange, purple, and black (once I grow them, that is). ...Just saying, it's nice to know that there are folks out there who like to works with more of a natural take for their villages.

Is it Aika village? i've seen a few horror towns, they're so interesting. I just wish I could speak Japanese lol

Oh my I love your town! It feels really complete and I love Where the Wild Things Are. And your house! especially hte left and right room.
