Are you sure you're not reading the petition requirements wrong? It should just be six signatures from animal villagers. They can all be from the same town, just not yours.

No lol he said specifically it has to be from another town. I would change the title of this thread but I don't think I can.
I realized a little while later that I didn't need to go to six towns, just needed six different villagers signatures from one different town.
