if you ever left the game on for a long time without (possibly with, havent tried it) puasing, while your on the island (possibly while yer not, havent tried it), for say 24 hours, and you come back to the game, you while be incredibly tan. lol its awsome to tan in the game! try it youreself... Only in the summer, spend a lot of time outside.

And yeah, I always found tanning on AC rather amusing.

Lmao yea.

I remember being on wifi in summer talking to friends and all of a sudden I saw my skin turning a darker colour, you would literally turn completely black if you stayed outside too long.

I believe it's faster if you're facing the screen and standing in one spot for a long time.

I recalled hearing you could also get sunburn if you got bit by a mosquito then attempted to tan.

Not sure if that was true or not, strictly for gamecube version, btw.

Scratch that. In the summer if you don't have an umbrella on while in your town for a long time, you will get tan. That's why I had to carry around an umbrella all summer.......=( But yes, you do get tan in the beach also. >.<
