Trading Lol, got an extra tea set. Trading for a gorgeus set (maybe someone don't want it)

Yes, this. It's also really not very nice to exploit perceived rarity to get people to make unfair trades.

Exactly. Also, I think some of you are missing the point, it's the Afternoon Tea set that has less value. People will be farming it for the next several weeks, there will be oodles of them. It takes maybe 5 minutes per set if you want to sit there in Starbucks.

Rarity is subjective, people still ask for shaved ice lamps and pay ridiculous amounts for them. Those who get them will likely ask for upward amounts just because it IS unorderable. This is available to people for a few weeks, but the Gorgeous set is available at all times forever for those willing to Time Travel. It comes down to the right person seeing a deal they find striking.

Good point!

I would just like to hope both sides of the transaction are fully informed -- I've seen several people misled about rarity (i.e. sellers claiming that the ladybug rug or various DLC are not orderable -- charge what you like but don't actually fib). If someone cannot wait a couple days to get their own set for free and they have a gorgeous set they can afford to give up, then why not.
