Okay, I suck at diving. Can someone help me out with finding a lobster? I'm willing to trade anything.

It's not possible for someone to help you find one and trade something else for it. Bugs, fish and seafood are released into the void only by the player who caught them. The best thing that someone can do to help you is by giving you the perfect times of day to catch them for yourself.

Yeah, they're the only items that aren't tradeable -_- for lobster I highly recommend diving at the island, much more common there.

Lobsters are rare in town, but common at the island (when dicing). Just swim very close before diving or they'll still get away.
