Life on Animal Crossing Part 65: Finally, a Fishing Tourney!

I apologize for not posting last week! I didn't have much time to go on, but now that I've got some free time, I'll tell you all what's been happening in Cypress.
So, last week was the Fishing Tourney-finally one that I could compete in again! It wasn't for any specific fish, so all I did was travel to the island and catch a huge whale shark. I also caught some other fish too, so I could beat my high score multiple times to get more items from Chip. I did end up winning, of course, with Fauna and Pate as the runner-ups. I sure did miss competing like that!

Unfortunately, I missed the day that the cherry blossoms fell from the trees. I had time to go on, but it was pretty late, so I decided not to, and by the next day they were all gone. I didn't realize that they only fell for one day. Oh, well. I decided that it wasn't worth it since the next day was the Fishing Tourney-I didn't want to risk time traveling and messing up the scores! There's always next year.
I discovered last week that Sylvia is moving in over from MeghanNewLeaf's town as well! I can't wait to meet her, although I may have to be off at least until Nature Day because I have a bunch of finals to take this week. Don't worry if it might take a few extra days before I post again-I'll most likely be studying and too busy to go online!
Other than that, I hope nobody is too upset that I haven't been posting lately. Just sit tight!

Aw, a new villager? I hope you enjoy having Sylvia in town. Also hope she picked a good spot to plant her house.

Don't worry that you haven't been on much; school is much more important, and we all know that RL intrudes from time to time. Just glad that you're doing well.

However, Gayle moved in from your town! She's nice, but I kind of want her to move. She nearly ruined some of my paths and trees. :T

Thank you! I did get lots of cool items to put in my mermaid-themed room upstairs.
And I don't know what Sylvia will think of Cypress since I didn't visit Meghan's town that much before she moved out. I'm sure she'll fit in just fine though! Her house isn't anywhere in the way of my paths, so that's a nice start!
Thanks for understanding about school and all as well. I hopefully won't have to worry too much about finals since we spend loads of time reviewing in class!

I'm hoping that she will, too! She'll have to move out eventually though since she isn't a Dreamie of mine, so I'll try not to become too attached to her.
Oh, yeah, I remember you telling me about Gayle! It's always a bummer when a villager moves in the way of a good spot. However, she's really nice and you'll have fun finishing customizing her house, so it won't be all bad!
