Yeah, it sounds silly but do you ever get the feeling that your villagers are dropping hints that you don't write enough? Today Alice ran up to me and said "Look at this...*shows letter written by my pattern mule from when she first arrived* "It just means so much to me to have a friend who cares enough about me to write such a beautiful letter. This is going in my treasure box!" *skips away, whistling* Why u gotta be so passive aggressive, Alice?

Obviously I'm kidding around, but I do wonder- how often do you all write your townies? And what do you write?

Well you're doing better than me, Elizacat- I haven't written my villagers in at least three weeks. Back on the GC, I was a pro letter writer, but I just can't be arsed anymore.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. Unless they write to you and you outright ignore them, I don't really think it's anything to worry about. They probably just think you're busy being mayor

Heh, thanks for the reassurance. I do a ton of favors for my townies, so hopefully that offsets my miserable correspondence record.

Yes exactly! I get a ton of letters too. I throw them away mostly, unless they're really, really cute letters. Which is rare.

He was asking for help with a crossword puzzle, and needed a 9 letter word for a puzzle that uses clues to fill in blanks and it started with 'c'.

I only ever send my villagers one letter each usually, the day they move in and I always send a letter saying "Welcome to Laputa!" other than that I don't write to them. I should write to them more, but I don't

Right? We already do a lot for them so I really don't bother with the letter much. Unless I want them to change a piece of furniture or something. ^^

I try to write certain villagers at least once a week.I usually just write letters to my favorites or if I have clothing or furniture I want them to have.

I just did it for my letter writing badge. I do write once and awhile to replace an item,give a shirt or to thank them for staying.
Sometime they make you feel bad. Deli said he thought I didn't care about him.

This is a good way to keep it manageable. I should just write the ones I want to keep the most, or the ones who really need an interior design intervention!
