Lets talk about the different peninsulas

I have the large “bulb” peninsula on my current island and love it. I’m planning on getting that again on my new island once I get my lite.

Is there a place to see all the peninsula sizes? I feel like mine is quite small compared to others I've seen, but I'm not really sure what the different sizes/options are. If I had known peninsulas came in different shapes and sizes, I might have actually reset to get a larger one.

Right now I just use mine as hybrid flower storage since I don't know how to decorate it. I would be curious to see what others have done with their peninsulas of a similar size! Here's an old picture of my map:

mine is a tad small. I don't have any ramps left to make a diving area on top of it, so I added a small pond to it since it's near the campsite! I'm considering resetting (since I went craaazy with the terraforming), and if I do I'd want the large peninsula that can hold a building.

I have 2 small peninsulas on the left and right side of the island - tbh wish there were more and that I had wider beach areas!

My peninsula's the shape of a big rectangle. I currently use it as a rainbow flower patch where I keep one of every flower color. It's located at the back of my island, so I don't visit it very often.

Mine is in the NW part of my island. I was able to fit a Lighthouse, my 2nd character’s home, a tree, and a wedding arch between the tree and home (leading to the tiny beach area and rocks in the back). Definitely pleased with how it worked out!

I keep hearing people say they fit all this stuff but i have the big peninsula and I'd be surprised if it fit a house but maybe...

I have the small peninsula and I put some flowers and the lighthouse on it. Not much else will fit! I'm so jealous of anyone who can make two tiers on theirs and waterfalls! I find mine is awkwardly positioned and you can't use it for much.

I have struggled so much with mine. I just have a park bench, flowers, and two stone lion dogs at the moment.

My Island has a larger but “pointier” peninsula. I picked it knowing that I wanted enough space to place my house on, and it worked out really well:

You’ll probably have the most space on the large bulb-shaped one, but I personally dislike that shape comparatively.

I’d say the bulb shape is good for those who like to work with symmetry, while the rugged ones look more natural.

I’m really struggling to know what to do with mine. Currently it just has trees and a bench on it

I don't like mine. I think it's rather small and I don't know what to do with it. There's cliffs right by it as well. I wanted to make the lighthouse more imposing by terraforming, but barely have any space so cheated a bit. It's definitely still a work in progress.
