Leif needs his shop back, here's why:

Originally, when Leif was first announced, I thought it was the same thing with the Able Sisters, you buy from him a few times and then he moves in, with a store. but apparently that's NOT the case, and I think it might need to happen. Here's why:

He is the only place you can get Shrubs. so if you want to use shrubs to decorate your Island one day, you either have to have extras(the saplings can't go into storage), or hope that he is visiting that day. otherwise, you have to postpone your decoration.

I completely agree that he deserves his own shop!!! He is just so cute and they could give him so much more to sell too! I'm talking veggies, fruit shrubs, potted plants etc

I bought shrubs from Leif and put them in my storage so they can go in there.

Can confirm shrubs go in storage. I do agree that he should have his own permanent shop though!

i totes agree, i feel like i'm waiting forever for him to show up and when he does, he never has the plants i need
then i gotta wait ages just for him to show up again

Part of the fun I'm having with this game is waiting for the pieces to fall into place.

I might have an idea of how to use shrubs in a particular area one day, and unless I happen to have some in my storage, the wait for Leif to come so I can finish my plans is part of the fun. It makes it all the more satisfying when he does finally show up, too!

well, he does visit every week so that good for now. I do agree that he needs his own shop. he deserves it

i'm hoping that, in the future, he will inform us that he's merging into nooks cranny in a future expansion of the store.

I agree! It would also get him out of rotation so we all get Redd more often. Cranny seems to have an upstairs...

I really thought there was room in the shop for him like NewLeaf but okay Nintendo.

My problem is I get and idea. I don't have bushes. By the time he shows up I totally forgot my idea.

Maybe I need to place tiles saying shrub to remind me.

He definitely needs a shop. It's so annoying to have to buy shrubs from others or just pause your decorating because he isn't there. Plus, you could bring his weeding service back?

That was happening to me, so now I keep a list.

I'm a list person anyway, but I have my Animal Crossing To Do list, which has my notes for future terraforming, items I may need for it, etc. Has been very useful.

I got ten of each and every shrub he sells and kept them in my storage.

Only if he's in Nook's Cranny. It's already bad enough that he wastes a fixed visitor slot, I really don't want him to take up ay island space for nothing but a handful of shrubs. Or give him an item pool that justifies his existence.
