Leap day birthday?

My birthday falls in February 29th and I was wondering if I will get to celebrate it in game since it doesn't appear on the calendar until 2016? I'm assuming since it isn't on the calendar, I won't get to celebrate it, so I am thinking of putting Feb 28th as my birthday...although it feels a bit weird to not put my real day lol.

Anyone know?

How odd. I would do Febuary 28th. It's really cool to see the villagers celebrating your birthday.

The Game will only recognize it on the actual day, so you will be getting a party once every four years, sadly. Most people with leap birthdays just enter February 28 or March 1. You could create alt characters to still get the party items, though.

Yeah, unfortunately, you don't get the benefits of having a birthday except for on the literal February 29th.
