I've been playing in my Animal Crossing town (Village - creative, I know :p) for a couple of weeks now, but already I'm feeling that there is definitely a lack of things to do in this game compared to the other ones in the series. Could anyone give me any suggestions?

I usually play the game only a few times a week, if that. That way it stays fresh for me. As for things to do, I really enjoy interior decorating. Especially since there are quite a few furniture items that were never seen in the series again. Villagers also give the best dialogue in the series in my opinion, and you can always do favors for them.

If you still don't enjoy it, maybe Gamecube just isn't the game for you?

No, I don't think it's that. I've only just started the game, so I think I need to get deeper into it.

The game does tend to be less interesting when you have just started. Once you have 15 villagers, a full sized house, and the final Nook store, it should be a bit more exciting.
