Label, rant, kind of.

I agree 100%. They could have came up with something so much better or at least have her give us Gracie items since there's no Gracie Grace in the game right now. It's even more frustrating when you consider that she can take up a weekly space that Redd might take instead.

I was so excited when she first showed up and I found out that she had her own fashion brand. Talk about character development!

But yeah when I actually got my hands on her items I was very disappointed. It's all so... basic. Like, a dress with your label printed all over it? Groundbreaking.

Gracie Grace had weird, special, avant-garde stuff that was so different from the regular items you could get at Able's. I know I sound like a snooty fashion critic but maybe Sable has been the designer in the family all along...

They should've probably continued in the direction they were going to with New Leaf and gave her an interesting accessory collection.

Therein lies the rub -- the biggest issue with Label isn't so much her own function, but the ways in which she pales (dramatically) in comparison to Redd in terms of what she has to offer the player. It feels like her arrival is the "disappointing result", which IMO doesn't do her justice as a character.

And it's all basically chick stuff. :(
Unfortunately. While some items could fall into unisex, the male ones feel pretty stereotypical to me.
I was going by what I've read on this forum.
People have speculated on Label being Gracies replacement, having studied under Gracie, may have picked up some furniture design ideas.

After all, Gracie never sold anything but shirts until New Leaf.
Actually, Gracie has been that way since City Folk, which was where she first opened GracieGrace in the city. While Label was the one who sold you the items, Gracie was the one who made them herself.

I have this funny feeling that Label is going to have something attached to her by the end of the year. It just reminds me so much of Gracie's fashion checks that it has to have something else attached to it.

Plus, I feel like I'm the only one who actually likes Label's Labelle line. It feels expensive to me even though it really isn't. I like her monogram better than Gracie's bullseye. It reminds me of Gucci or Chanel and I really like that. I also love that it comes in different colors.

I do agree that we need Gracie back with more furniture sets. It would be fun to have Label handle the clothing (and possibly get more clothing by the end of the year) and then have Gracie come in to focus on furniture in a high-end shop with both of them in it. But, what I want more than anything, is for Gracie and Label to have a collab. Then I would feel like Label finally achieved her goal of becoming a fashion designer because she is being acknowledged as one by her former mentor. But, will that happen? Who knows? We will most likely find out by the end of the year.

I like her but I agree she's kind of pointless. Also, I think it's weird that if you don't spend all 3000 bells on an item you don't get to keep the ticket and use the rest next time! Like I know it's not very much and doesn't really matter but still, why?
