King salmon

I've tried getting the King Salmon for countless hours, been trying for the whole week when ever I am playing Animal Crossing New Leaf. I have already got my time set in September when it's the only time that spawns but I was just wondering if anyone has any tips or whatever. It's killing me and I only have 3 fish to catch till I have completed my fishing journal ;-;

Just checking but I think that the King Salmon will only be found near your beach waterfall (on the river obviously). I would just keep fishing there.

Yep, checked and it'll only spawn around the beach side waterfall. It will either be directly underneath or above the waterfall.
